NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF BOILING LIQUID OUTFLOWS PROCESS

  Computational algorithm was developed based on the well-known ANSYS Fluent  software package for studying unsteady wave outflow of a saturated liquid from high-pressure pipelines during emergency depressurization. The processes liquid, boiling as result depressurization vessels, have been investigated. system equations conservation mass, momentum, and energy in two-dimensional coordinate is used order to create mathematical model this process. describe initial stage features formation jets at various equilibrium states water vessel under conditions close experiments carried out by authors [10] studied. spatial distributions pressure, temperature velocity forming jet are obtained. Numerical results shown that, over time, character distribution acquires conical shape. With an increase preserved, opening angle increases. qualitative agreement with experimental data. &nbsp
